Q. How is the donated money spent?

A. For every shirt sold, aGREENtee will donate $5 to beach cleaning efforts. Each shirt will fund approx 30 minutes of beach cleaning activity. These funds are either paid to a cleaning crew, or awarded to participants in larger scale community cleanups.

Q. When and where are beach cleanups?

A. Beach cleanups occur year round. Some cleanups are completed by staff at agreentee, and updates can be found on Twitter or Facebook. Large scale cleanups are completed 4 times per year, and include awards to all participants. Awards consist of free shirts, or local gift cards of $10. Location of large scale cleanups will be announced via Twitter and Facebook. The majority of cleanup activity is currently located in and around New Buffalo, Michigan.

Q. What are shirts made out of?

A. Currently there are 2 different shirts available. The old Great Lakes Surf Co shirts, with text only, are manufactured with 100% organic cotton. The new Great Lakes Surf Co shirts, with logo, are manufactured using 50% transitional organic cotton, and 50% PET (recycled plastic bottles).

Q. What forms of payment are accepted?

A. We accept major credit cards, as well as PayPal for payment.

Q. Do I have to register to order?

A. No you do not have to register to order. You will have to enter your name, e-mail, and shipping address, so that we can fulfill your order. aGREENtee will not send unsolicited e-mails ever! If you want to follow clean-up progress, please use Facebook or Twitter.
